Absorbent Hydro-Detergent Dressing

• The UrgoClean dressing comes in the form of a sterile, non-woven compress, composed of hydro-detergent fibers (polyacrylate) with a high level of absorption and cohesion.

• This unique innovation consists of thermally bonding polyacrylate fibers in a plane parallel to the wound, according to a structural arrangement which gives UrgoClean its properties of absorbing and trapping fibrinous residues from the wound and tensile strength.

• This hydro-cleansing compress is coated with a micro-adherent lipido-colloid matrix (TLC-contact) which gels, thus facilitating the drainage of fibrinous residues, the positioning and the removal of the product.

• Upon contact with exudates, the lipidocolloid particles from TLC-contact gel, creating a moist environment favorable to debridement.

• Simultaneously, the hydro-detergent polyacrylate fibers gel and attach to the fibrinous residues, absorbing and draining them to facilitate their removal.

• As a result, the fixation and drainage of fibrinous residues by the hydro-detergent structure UrgoClean associated with its TLC-Contact promotes the debridement phase of fibrinous wounds.
