SOS CUTS – Self-adhesive bandage - Urgo

Perfectly adapted to emergency situations , URGO SOS CUTS – self-adhesive strip stops the bleeding in just a few steps and allows you to immediately resume your activity.

The gang URGO SOS CUTS It's stretchy, so it stops bleeding through compression. It's also self-adhesive, repositionable, and can be torn by hand, making it easy and convenient to use. No scissors or adhesive are needed; the bandage stays in place on its own!

Its ergonomic design promotes a good grip and allows for quick and easy application of the tape. Its pinch tip makes cutting the tape easier. Hygienic , its base protects the strip after use.

Instructions for use:

For a first application:

1. Unroll the strip to the desired length.
2. Wrap the bandage 2 to 3 times, slightly overlapping over the entire wound area to stop the bleeding.
3. Pinch the tip of the product to lock the strip, then pull the strip lengthwise until it tears.

Remove the strip as soon as the bleeding has stopped and at the latest 30 minutes after application.

Clean, disinfect, rinse and dry the wound.

Apply a suitable dressing if necessary.

For subsequent uses: For hygiene reasons, do not use the part protruding from the packaging. Before reuse, cut off and discard the protruding piece. Then follow the same instructions as for the first use.

Precautions for use:

• To avoid a tourniquet effect (risk of edema or necrosis):
  • Do not apply for more than 30 minutes.
  • Avoid excessive tension during placement to ensure blood flow.
  • As soon as you feel any unpleasant sensations (tingling, altered sensation, etc.), remove or loosen the band immediately.
  • Once the tape has been applied, do not use any objects that could get caught on the tape.
  • Do not reapply once bleeding has stopped.
• To avoid the risk of infection:
  • Do not reuse a piece of tape that has already been used. Reusing a single-use product can cause infection.
  • Be careful not to touch the part of the bandage that will be in contact with the wound.
• Keep the product in its original packaging.
• A healthcare professional should be consulted if the bleeding does not stop after 15 minutes, especially if you are taking blood-thinning medication, or if the bleeding is heavy or spurting.

Contraindication: Do not use:

• • in children under 3 years old.
  • in people with diabetes.

Side effects :
Like any product that comes into contact with the skin, this product may cause skin reactions such as irritation or allergy.

To minimize any risk of infection or skin reactions:
Follow the instructions for use carefully.
Do not reuse a used bandage. Do not use on wounds longer or wider than the bandage or that may extend beyond it. Do not use a damaged product.

Any serious incident related to this product must be reported to URGO HEALTHCARE Laboratories and the National Agency for Health Products (ANSM).
